21st Century Leaders and The Global Party

The Global Party – a marketing & fundraising opportunity for charities

In March 2011, 21st Century Leaders was asked by David Johnstone and Lord Stanley Fink, Founders of The Global Party, to assist by recommending four charities to be officially chosen to benefit from the global exposure and funds raised through their Global Party initiative.

As a result of 21st Century Leaders’ recommendations, this fantastic opportunity was given to Tusk, Virgin Unite, Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund & Nordoff Robbins, who joined IAA - The Duke of Edinburgh's Award(International Award Association), IIE (Institute Of International Education), Blue Marine Foundation, Sentebale, Raisa Gorbachev Foundation, Pratham, ARK (Absolute Return for Kids), and ourselves, as one of the fifteen official charitable beneficiaries of The Global Party.

In addition, 21st Century Leaders also wrote to over 100 other charities, offering them the opportunity to apply for two Global Party tickets, to auction at their own events to raise funds for their own organisations. The following charities have confirmed that they will be applying for this gift.

 

     


In February the International Red Cross, the first charity to apply for tickets, successfully auctioned their two tickets for £23,000.

The launch of 21st Century Leaders Foundation to the GCC - Thursday 15th September 2011

In July 2011, Charlotte di Vita MBE & 21st Century Leaders took the concept of The Global Party, to Doha and devised a plan to add Qatar, to the 80+ countries participating in The Global Party. Goody bags for a good cause The Foundation was also very pleased to be asked to provide celebrity designed products from our “merchandising with meaning” campaign for the Doha party goody bag. The Whatever It Takes campaign continues to offer conscience consumers the most up to date products and accessories.  A selection of products from the collection, featuring ‘symbols of hope for the 21st Century’ drawn by leaders in the worlds of fashion, film, television, music and sport, were presented to guests to promote the campaign’s launch in the GCC. Celebrity products included designs created by George Clooney, Nicole Kidman, Donna Karan, Dame Vivienne Westwood and many more.
