How have we helped?

In May 2012, 21st Century Leaders gave former volunteer Hanna Hassanbek Whatever It Takes products to arrange a fashion show, with the proceeds being shared with 21st Century Leaders and her chosen charity Mission Himalaya.


Hanna Hassanbek went to Nepal with her school The English College in Dubai. Funds raised were used to build the Eco-Farm Home for the homeless children charity Mission Himalaya. Whilst Hanna was out in Nepal she helped carry out necessary labour projects at the site, ranging from digging footings for the planned multi-purpose hall, painting the interior of the dormitories and play room and helping demarcate the organic garden which will provide the project with food and a sustainable source of income.


About Mission Himalaya

Mission Himalaya was founded in July 2Mission Himalaya was founded in July 2008 by a group of socially committed professionals like teachers, tour- ism entrepreneurs and social workers. It is registered with the Office of the Company Registrar, Government of Nepal as Company not Distributing Profit to help orphaned children, providing primary health care, education and nutrition as well as to care to the disabled and the old aged people of the society. Though they are small in numbers and size, they are determined to serve and support them.


Their Objectives

1. Provide primary health care, education and nutrition to the orphans and work for their welfare.

2. Initiate to build an old people’s home for the disabled and the old aged and neglected people living in the society.
